"Sizing Up" is an art/alt rock track about getting constant critique and pressure from others and choosing to outgrow it. Set in a dim bedroom lit only by a lamp, with someone creeping outside the door, the song captures the moment you realise you need to break free. With cutting guitars akin to Muse, Fiona Apple-esque vocals, and a synth pulse inspired by New Order, it's a cathartic release captured in song.

‘Rosemary’ was inspired by one of our bandmate’s old piano teachers, who was awful to him. It’s about the sting of resentment and disappointment when a close friend turns on you, talks behind your back, and leaves you blindsided. Everyone has experienced that betrayal, and this song is about cutting out those kind of people and moving into a better space - ‘new world is coming through, the old is booted out with you.’ The song came together almost instantly, expanding once we crafted the cutting synth line after the first chorus - that really cemented the dance-y groove underneath. Recording it was special: our head lecturer overheard us playing it in the college practice rooms and offered us free studio time, saying the idea was too strong to waste. We tracked it in our college studio with that same sense of spontaneity - it’s energetic, cheeky, and bold, like shaking off the negativity and stepping into something brighter.

clear motion is a deeply emotional song, written from a stance of sentimental stubbornness, aiming to light a spark inside the minds of those unable to accept the passions inside of them. Sending a wall of sound to wash over listeners, and taking inspiration from Cocteau Twins’ inconspicuous lyrics, this song aspires to transport us to a place inside ourselves, and away from the cruel natures of the world.
"don't ask away" is a powerful, high-energy anthem brimming with raw female rage and defiance. This track captures the frustration and anger of feeling unseen and used, offering today's youth a voice to scream out against those who value them only for their image rather than their true selves. With its fierce lyrics and climactic chorus, "don't ask away" addresses the pain of being wanted for a facade while your personality is ignored. Wrapped in iNNUENDO's signature sonically expansive style, the song is an unforgettable and empowering rallying cry for anyone who's ever felt undervalued or dismissed.
“brake faster” is a raw depiction of the painful realization of a failing relationship, full of intense emotions and instrumentals, and an anthem for those who feel trapped in the fight against disillusionment. With its haunting melodies and coaxing lyrics, the song captures the tumultuous journey of confronting heartbreak and finding resilience. iNNUENDO’s distinctive blend of piano-rich arrangements within a classic art-rock framework delivers an evocative soundscape that captivates and resonates with any audience.
